Traditional Mobile Providers Moving to MoVoIP?

MoVoIP, an acronym for Mobile VoIP, allows individuals to place voice-based calls from a mobile device, via the Internet, circumventing the need for a conventional mobile operator.  MoVoIP, much like regular VoIP solutions, offers consumers a more affordable means to communicate, as voice packets are being transmitted over the Internet, instead of the standard circuit switch services that power traditional landline calls.

Just as there are specific requirements needed to place VoIP calls from your PC, such as a VoIP Box, High-Speed Internet Connection and an account with a VoIP Provider, the same holds true for MoVoIP.  In addition to must having a WiFi-enabled telephone, they must also have access to a WiFi Connection (or 3G Network) and an account with a Mobile VoIP Provider to facilitate the call.

MoVoIP is ideal for anyone who owns a mobile device that is seeking a more affordable way to place calls without worrying about exceeding their allotted monthly minutes.
